Mechanism

Retatrutide activates three class B G-protein-coupled receptors. Reported in-vitro potency is approximately balanced across GIPR and GCGR with somewhat lower potency at GLP-1R relative to native GLP-1, which distinguishes it from GLP-1-selective and GIP/GLP-1 dual-agonist comparators.
