Overview

Body Pharm Tesamorelin 32 mg is a sealed, pre-filled multi-dose research pen containing 32 mg of tesamorelin in solution. Tesamorelin is a synthetic 44-amino-acid analogue of human growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44) carrying an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoyl modification that stabilises the peptide against dipeptidyl-peptidase cleavage.

The pen is a laboratory research material. It is supplied strictly for laboratory research and is not for human or veterinary use. It is not a medicine, food, dietary supplement or cosmetic, and no medical, therapeutic or performance claims are made or implied. No dosing information is provided.

Research background

Tesamorelin acts at the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs. In the laboratory it is used as a stabilised, full-length GHRH-receptor agonist in studies of the hypothalamic–pituitary–somatotropic axis, GHRH-receptor signalling and downstream IGF-1 axis biology [1][2]. It sits alongside CJC-1295 (a truncated GHRH 1-29 analogue) as a GHRH-receptor ligand, and upstream of recombinant somatropin, which acts at the growth-hormone receptor directly. See our CJC-1295 vs Ipamorelin guide for how the GH-axis compounds relate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Tesamorelin 32mg for human use?

No. It is supplied strictly for laboratory research and is not for human or veterinary use. No dosing or administration information is provided.

How does tesamorelin differ from CJC-1295?

Both are GHRH-receptor agonists. Tesamorelin is a stabilised full-length GHRH(1-44) analogue; CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a truncated GHRH(1-29) analogue with four stabilising amino-acid substitutions.

How is purity verified?

Each batch is HPLC-tested for purity and identity; the Certificate of Analysis for that batch is published on this page.
