Overview

Body Pharm BPC-157 + TB-500 is a sealed, pre-filled multi-dose research pen containing a 32 mg combined blend of two synthetic peptides in solution: BPC-157, a 15-amino-acid fragment of a protein sequence identified in human gastric juice, and TB-500, a synthetic peptide corresponding to the actin-binding region of thymosin β4.

The pen is a laboratory research material. It is supplied strictly for laboratory research and is not for human or veterinary use. It is not a medicine, food, dietary supplement or cosmetic, and no medical, therapeutic or performance claims are made or implied. No dosing information is provided.

Research background

BPC-157 (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) is studied in preclinical models of angiogenesis, fibroblast migration and gastrointestinal cytoprotection, and has been reported to modulate VEGFR2 expression and the nitric-oxide system in vitro and in preclinical models [1]. It is stable in gastric-juice conditions in vitro.

TB-500 corresponds to residues 17–23 (LKKTETQ) of thymosin β4, a 43-amino-acid G-actin-sequestering protein. Thymosin β4 and its actin-binding fragment are studied for regulation of actin polymerisation, cell migration and modulation of inflammatory signalling in cell culture and preclinical models [2].

Because the two peptides act through non-overlapping mechanisms, laboratory protocols often pair them: one arm examines angiogenic / cytoprotective signalling, the other actin regulation and cell motility. The blended pen supplies both from a single batch-certified cartridge. See our BPC-157 vs TB-500 comparison and the compound monograph.

Quality documentation

Every batch is HPLC-tested for purity and identity of both components. The batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is published on this page and on our Certificates of Analysis page, and the batch number is printed on the pen label.

Storage and handling

Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Handle only with appropriate personal protective equipment in a laboratory setting and dispose of the pen as laboratory sharps waste. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Supply, dispatch and returns

Dispatched from the UK by tracked Royal Mail in plain outer packaging; most UK orders arrive within 1–3 working days. Shipping is free on UK pen orders. Unused, unopened pens with the seal intact may be returned within 14 days of delivery; opened pens cannot be returned. See shipping and returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is BPC-157 + TB-500 for human use?

No. The blend is supplied strictly for laboratory research and is not for human or veterinary use. No dosing or administration information is provided.

Why are the two peptides supplied together?

They act through different mechanisms — BPC-157 in angiogenic and cytoprotective pathways, TB-500 in actin regulation and cell migration — so a paired protocol can run both arms from one batch-certified source.

How is purity verified?

Each batch is HPLC-tested for purity and identity of both components; the Certificate of Analysis for that batch is published on this page.

How should the pen be stored?

Refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light, never frozen.
